East Coast hapū feels 'harassed' over port plans

An East Coast hapū feels harrassed by continued attempts from government to build a port in Hicks Bay.  A deep sea port has been discussed and refused numerous times by the hapū. They say fresh inquiries into setting up a new port by the government are disappointing.  Ani Pahuru-Huriwai is from Te Whanau a Tūwhakairiora hapū. She spoke to Susie Ferguson.
