Today in the US, the House of Representatives will formally charge ex-President Donald Trump with inciting violence ahead of the deadly attack on the Capitol. It comes just over a year after the House issued its first impeachment measure against Trump. All going to plan, the trial would begin on February the 9th Three major items are on the table: Trump's trial, new Covid-19 relief and approving President Biden's cabinet.
