Democrats have begun an attempt to remove President Donald Trump from office. A resolution to impeach President Trump again was formally introduced by Democrats in the House of Representatives this morning. The document accuses Trump of "incitement of insurrection" and claims the president actively encouraged the violence at the US Capitol last week. Democrats will attempt to impeach Mr Trump if Vice-president Mike Pence does not remove him from office under the 25th Amendment of the US Constitution.
