Covid-19: GPs compile list of frontline workers for jabs

GP groups in Auckland have been asked to compile a list of frontline doctors and nurses who could be called up at the last minute for a vaccine after many missed out at the weekend. Doctors were outraged after some working in the middle of the current outbreak were turned away when 1500 leftover doses suddenly became available. Some of it went instead to DHB staff, including those who are not high risk. The city's district health boards have admitted they made a mistake, saying it was a very quick turnaround. The president of the College of GP's, Samantha Murton, told health correspondent Rowan Quinn it's important the DHBs are prepared if it happens again.
