Police are cracking down on gangs, with the launch of a nationwide operation to disrupt and prevent firearms-related gang violence. Operation Tauwhiro is a long-term co-ordinated operation focusing on enforcement - and harm prevention. But the Opposition says it'll be a woke, toothless talkfest if police aren't given more powers.
