In a re-jigged America's Cup Challenger Selection Series schedule today's racing has been called off as American Magic sit out this block of sailing to repair the boat following their dramatic capsize. However, regatta director Iain Murray has confirmed that spectators will see racing on Saturday and Sunday as the remaining challengers, Team UK and Italy's Luna Rossa, have committed to racing on both days. The challengers race each other once and then take place in a "ghost" race against the absent American Magic. The "ghost" race only requires a team to cross the start line to pick up a competition point. Iain Murray tells America's Cup reporter Felicity Reid racing can't wait for teams that aren't able to make the start line.
