Testing continues for East Otago residents affected by lead

East Otago residents can still be tested for lead poisoning today as a result of the region's water contamination scare. Last Tuesday, residents in Waikouaiti and Karitane were first told about high levels of lead in their water supply. They've been advised not to drink their tap water since. Hundreds of people were tested yesterday and residents will be able to do so again today. Waikouaiti Coast Community Board chair Alasdair Morrison spoke to our producer Matthew Theunissen last night about how the response has been going.
