Followers of Rātana are searching for a new way forward for the faith, amid internal ructions.  Today marks the 148th birthday of their founder, Tahupōtiki Wiremua Rātana, an annual celebration that attracts hundreds to the temple at Rātana Pā, just south of Whanganui.  It is also the first event of the political calender - but only a handful of Labour MPs with ties to the faith will attend this year.  Reporter Meriana Johnsen is at the celebrations and speaks to Susie Ferguson.
