Programme to reduce sudden unexpected infant deaths failing

A government programme set up to reduce sudden deaths of babies is failing and fatalities have risen. The Ministry of Health is privately admitting to ministers that progress is "very disappointing" and is now reviewing the $5 million a year scheme. Formerly known as "cot death", sudden unexpected deaths in infancy - or SUDI - generally occur in the first few months of a baby's life, and most often in their sleep. Jordan Bond reports.
