Principals challenge Ministry of Education over student failure
Primary and intermediate school principals are accusing the Education Ministry of a lack of leadership over children's declining performance. The Principals Federation says years of falling scores, especially in maths and science, should be ringing alarm bells. It says the ministry needs to provide more direction on the best ways to teach.
