Otara carpark becomes busy Covid-19 testing centre
As of yesterday afternoon, community testing centres had swabbed close to 2300 people in Auckland alone. A pop-up testing centre has been set up at Papatoetoe High School, while New Plymouth - where the family travelled over Waitangi weekend - has quadrupled its usual testing capacity. And one of the busiest Covid-19 testing centres during this outbreak - and indeed during the previous outbreaks - has been in the carpark behind Otara Town Centre. So we're very pleased to be joined this morning by Nonu Tuisamoa, who's the operations manager for South Seas Healthcare, which runs the centre.
