NZ Track and Field Champs desperate for officials
Athletics New Zealand is desperately seeking officials for next month's New Zealand Track and Field Championships in Hastings. The flow-on effect from the pandemic has hit the sport hard .. and with New Zealand Olympians expected to be in action there is a need for more people to help out in the middle. Accomodation is provided and 'keen people can learn quickly' according to Athletics New Zealand's 'Officials Development Manager' Trevor Spittle. He spoke to Felicity Reid about the situation facing the national championships.
