New classroom immersion training starts for student teachers
As students get ready to head back to the classroom, some teachers-in-training will be part of a pilot programme this year to learn on the job. Instead of going through the usual route to get their teaching qualification, they'll spend a year immersed in the classroom, with their study costs covered. Louise Ternouth explains.
