MIT chief executive on Covid-positive student

With Auckland back under an Alert Level 3 lockdown much of the attention is turning to the Manukau Institute of Technology's Manukau campus, where a Covid-positive student went to class while potentially infectious. The 21 year old developed symptoms of weakness and fever on Tuesday and loss of taste and smell on Wednesday so is being treated as having been infectious since last weekend. He went to MIT on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday last week. Our producer Matthew Theunissen spoke with MIT chief executive Gus Gilmore about the student's movements around the Manukau campus.
