Maori women's cricket squad prepare for Pacific tournament
b"The first M\\u0101ori women's cricket squad is taking part in the the Pacific Cup tournament which begins today, in a bid to increase the participation of M\\u0101ori and Pasifika in the sport.\\nThis year's tournament, being played in T\\u0101maki\\xa0Makaurau Auckland, will see teams from the Cook Islands, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa and Vanuatu, as well as Aotearoa all compete for the title.\\nThe diversity and inclusion lead at New Zealand Cricket, Andrew Tara, says the tournament is a good way to encourage M\\u0101ori and Pacific participation in the sport.\\nTara spoke to Ben Strang."
