Man charged over Trentham racecourse incident appears in court
The man accused of running onto Trentham raceway during the Wellington Cup on Saturday - narrowly avoiding injury - has appeared in court. Twenty-four-year-old Justin Bergman appeared in the Hutt Valley District Court this morning. RNZ's Wellington court reporter Jonathan Mitchell.
