Govt, opposition fire shots over coal import statistics
The government has fired back at the Opposition for suggesting its 2018 ban on gas exploration has lead to a major increase in coal imports. New data shows the amount of coal imported last year was greater than in 2017 and 2018 combined. But the government says the increase has nothing to do with them.
