Covid-19: Opposition, experts backing Pfizer vaccine purchase

Opposition MPs and medical experts are backing the government's decision to make Pfizer New Zealand's main Covid-19 vaccine. It's agreed to purchase an additional 8.5 million doses, bringing the total to 10 million. A vaccinologist is applauding the decision to invest in a vaccine shown to be around 95 percent effective. The opposition agrees, but says the government now needs to get on with spelling out exactly when New Zealanders can expect to receive their jabs. Political reporter Yvette McCullough has more.
