Covid-19: Northland iwi set to reinstate checkpoints

Iwi in the North are set to reinstate checkpoints by Thursday morning which they say is to stop the Covid-19 from moving around the region - or out into the rest of the country.  Te Tai Tokerau Border Control has met to discuss how to deal with the community case in the region and protect vulnerable kaumātua.  Its regional co-ordinator Rueben Taipari told RNZ reporter Meriana Johnsen time is of the essence.
