Covid-19: National Party wants inquiry into NZ response

The National Party says a full inquiry into New Zealand's Covid-19 response is needed because a year into the pandemic because it believes mistakes are still being made. Leader Judith Collins wants to find out what went wrong to cause the Valentine's Day cluster and days of lockdown for Auckland. Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins says they'll look into how to improve communications and messaging around contacts, but there's no need for a inquiry. Collins told RNZ political editor Jane Patterson there are several problem areas.
