Covid-19 casts shadow over upcoming holidays
A Covid-19 shadow is hovering over this weekend's Auckland Anniversary holiday. The mystery continues as to how three people caught the virus at the city's Pullman Hotel. The government response has been to once again toughen the rules at all MIQ facilities. The cases, who were all able to enter the community while still positive, are causing unease ahead of this weekend and Waitangi Day celebrations. Here's RNZ political reporter, Katie Scotcher.
