Allowing MPs to read election report a 'good concession' from National Party board - Judith Collins

The 2020 election disaster continues to haunt the National Party, which is keeping its review into the failed campaign under wraps. Nobody from the opposition has commented on the review but a leaked email from party president Peter Goodfellow to party members says it reveals a campaign marked by disunity and poor behaviour. National Party leader Judith Collins told Morning Report the party's MPs were able to read the report, but could not keep their own copies. [audio_play]  "It is absolutely a National Party board document, it is not one that is owned by caucus." She said it was a decision from the board and she was happy to comply to the condition. "The fact that our MPs are able to read it themselves is, I consider, a good concession by the board to the MPs."
