HARLINGEN, Texas - Did you know about the Russia-Paris connection? \\xa0

According to Russian Pianist, Danil Trifonov, to this day, many building and street signs are bilingual Russian/French. \\xa0

Trifonov explained this Russian/French connection when I recently spoke to him about his latest release, Silver Age, an homage to music created during this important period in Russian History.

Pianist Danil Trifinov\\u2019s Silver Age album, includes Scriabin's Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in F sharp minor Op.20; Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No.2 in G minor Op.16; and Three Movements from Stravinsky\\u2019s Petrushka.\\xa0

On the Silver Age album you will also be able to listen to Prokofiev's Sarcasmes Op.17, Piano Sonata No.8 in B flat major Op.84 and the "Gavotte" from "Cinderella" Op.95 No.2.\\xa0 The album also includes Stravinsky's Serenade.\\xa0 Go straight to track 14 and listen to my favorite--excerpts from The Firebird.

The album is available in double disc and e-album formats. \\xa0

I think you will enjoy listening to the podcast of my conversation with Russian Pianist, Danil Trifinov.
