In this episode, Chandra and Sarah talk about the story of Hagar and how we can all relate to struggles in life.\\xa0 They discuss letting children have a voice in decision making (6:30) and then dive into Genesis and Hagar\\u2019s story (10:00). They start by exchanging what comes to mind when they think of Hagar (11:45) and what happens when they try to \\u201chelp God\\u201d (13:30). Chandra talks about when intention turns to tension (14:45) and they both discuss what has kept them anchored in hard places (22:00). Sometimes God\\u2019s answer is to \\u201cstop - and wait\\u201d (27:10) and while the desert was isolating for Hagar, it also gave her purpose and identity. Next, they visit the meaning of \\u201cIshmael\\u201d - God heard (31:30) - and talk about how God gives us peace as we walk in obedience. In closing, they discuss takeaways for someone in a difficult situation.
