Facemasks should be used for the protection of others but not for the protection of oneself.

So says a world-leading epidemiologist and WHO adviser, in this Radio Sweden Weekly episode. But several countries have changed their guidance, prompted by new evidence that suggests the use of face masks in public places could help contain the covid-19 pandemic. Plus, did Sweden do too little too late to stem the spread of the coronavirus? We hear from one of 2,000 academics who have raised the alarm over Sweden's strategy. While Stockholm is the hardest hit area of Sweden, having reported a majority of the countrys confirmed covid-19 cases, the situation also looks different across the capital. We hear voices from the Rinkeby-Kista district. It's worst affected area in the Stockholm region. Finally, health authorities and the prime minister have urged Swedes to stay home for Easter. We asked Stockholmers how they plan to spend the long weekend. Nathalie Rothschild nathalie.rothschild@sr.se
