In the UK students will be sitting public exams for the first time a since 2019.\\xa0 This means that the current year 13s won\\u2019t have done GCSEs and many teachers that have joined the profession haven\\u2019t taken a cohort through the exams process and this may mean there is some additional apprehension about the whole process.\\xa0 With this in mind I thought I would start this term with a week of short podcasts that look at ways to make revision effective and engaging.\\xa0 I am starting with an interview with Lucy Carey from OCR talking about the big picture for assessment this year, the concerns that teachers and students are raising and what advice assessment bodies such as OCR have for both students and teachers for this exam period.\\xa0 You can find more support on the OCR website.
