Morecambe Preview
Another great result for the Latics picking up our 12th away win from 18 played so far this season, the machine keeps rolling on. Crewe look dead and buried but they still needed beating and we put in a professional performance to make sure the points came back up the M6 with us.
Josh Magennis got himself off the mark with a cracking headed goal from Max Power's delivery, the Northern Ireland international had a good all round game and he worked hard all evening closing down defenders and winning his duels.
Saturday sees Morecambe at the DW Stadium, the first time they'll have played in Wigan since 1st August 1999 when the then non-league club became our first opponents at our brand spanking new ground.
Tom Collins from Shrimps On Line joins us to give the low down on Morecambe and he is confident that, even though they haven't won in eleven games, they can get something on Saturday, we shall see.
Up the tics!
