b'The Prepping Acadmey welcomes Steven Bird on the show! \\xa0Steven Bird was born in Harlan, KY in 1973, where he lived until joining the U.S. Navy in 1992.\\xa0 He spent the next thirteen years living in northwest Washington state, where he served on active duty for eleven of those years.\\xa0 After leaving active duty, he completed twenty years of service\\xa0with the Navy Reserve, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer.While in the reserves, he pursued a civilian flying career working as a flight instructor, charter pilot, a turbo-prop airline first officer, jet airline first officer, and has been a jet airline captain since September of 2007.\\xa0 He has served in both military and federal law enforcement capacities and holds his Airline Transport Pilot, Certified Flight Instructor, Instrument Flight Instructor, and Multi-Engine Flight Instructor FAA pilot certificates with numerous jet type ratings, as well as a bachelor\\u2019s degree in eBusiness.In his spare time, Steven has been involved with off-road motorcycle racing, competitive shooting, hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and myriad other outdoor\\xa0activities.\\xa0 He currently focuses his free time on his family as a happily married father of three.\\xa0 He and his wife Monica own a farm in Tennessee, where they raise their own fruits and vegetables, in addition to raising cattle, chickens, ducks and sheep.Steven Bird is a self-sufficiency minded individual with a passion for individual liberty and economic freedom.\\xa0 He puts this passion into his writing where he conveys the things that he feels are truly important in life, intertwined with action packed adventure and the struggles of humanity.http://preppingacademy.com/Check out Steven's Books on Amazon:\\xa0\\xa0 https://amzn.to/2L24thv\\xa0http://stevencbird.com\\xa0
