Ep 28: Risk Factors Linked to Complications in Pregnancy & Childbirth

Published: July 31, 2021, 6:26 a.m.

There is no separation between the mind and body. What impacts our thoughts and emotions also impacts what shows up in the body.

As a Birth Doula, I also have the privilege of supporting birthing people as they bring their babies earthside. What I’ve learned is that our subconscious fears seem to come to a climax in the midst of childbirth because it feels as though there is so much at stake. In today’s episode, I share scientific research showing the link between unhealed emotions, limiting beliefs about the body, and how these can lead to complications during pregnancy and childbirth.

My desire for you is to have an awareness of what’s happening in your thoughts and emotions, and the impact it can have on you or your baby. And moving to the next level, to have ALL the support you want or need during pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond.

Knowledge is power. And what an empowered birthing person you’ll be with what I share in this week’s episode!
