The capital city of Jackson, Miss., has been without drinkable tap water since late July. But this isn\\u2019t the first time there\\u2019s been a water crisis in the majority-Black town. 


\\u201cI think what\'s really been lost is that there was a crisis in Jackson long before,\\u201d reporter Emmanuel Felton says, \\u201cAnd what had been going on for years was really almost constant boil water notifications.\\u201d


Residents say sewage is spilling into backyards and people are getting rashes and lumps from the water. \\u201cIt\\u2019s horrible, it\\u2019s horrible, everything is horrible,\\u201d resident Tammie Williams says. \\u201cAnd it\\u2019s it\\u2019s a disaster, really, you know? Disaster.\\u201d
