It is safe to say the word ‘surrender’ can carry a few negative connotations with its meaning; thoughts like defeat, failure, or giving up. People often believe that surrendering is something that we need to force ourselves to do. This is false. Being able to surrender means being able to let go and allow!

How does surrendering look in your life? Are there areas of your career, relationships, or personal growth that you are always trying to control? There is an aspect of pride we all must overcome in order to successfully surrender each day. Recognizing this is the first step.
