Universities have sent out a record number of early offers this year and applications for some admission schemes have tripled as year 12 students rush to secure their future amid the uncertainty caused by COVID-19. The institutions are struggling with the loss of international student revenue as the pandemic continues to prevent students from flying in from overseas.
