This week on the show I am joined by Leanne Hanson, an educator out of Australia, or as she describes herself, a thinker who occasionally teaches. She has taught English, film and media, and now teaches career skills to primary students. She is also the co-host of the Edunauts podcast, a member of the VoicEd Radio network, which focuses on the Future We standards.
Leanne and I talk about her unique position, the need for more future-forward thinking, the lack of critical thinking among people in general, healthy skepticism and recognizing biases, the importance of communicating with other educators outside your school and geographical space, and how great teachers are sometimes bad teachers.
We have some technical issues during this episode, mostly as a result of Leanne\'s Australian internet, but I think it is still worth the listen.
