Episode 40 Stephen Hurley

Published: March 9, 2018, 2 p.m.

b'Hello, and welcome to Episode 40 of the Planning Period Podcast, your #EdBreakroom. I\'m your host, Brad Shreffler.
This week on the show I am joined by a man who really needs no introduction on this podcast, Stephen Hurley. Stephen is the creator of VoicEd Radio, a retired teacher, and a generally awesome guy. He has conversations about education all day, everyday, and is still passionate about it, which amazes me.
Stephen and I talk about his love of radio, the power of voice, the problem of looking for problems, trust people have in education, listening to voices that don\'t agree with you, and tells some really wonderful stories.
So, sit back and enjoy Episode 40 of the Planning Period Podcast, my interview with Stephen Hurley.

Stephen, thank you so much for joining me finally on the podcast. As much as I give you a hard time, I know it wasn\'t you avoiding me, and I really appreciate you taking the time to talk to me.
If you want to connect with Stephen, you can find him on twitter @Stephen_Hurley. And, of course, you can always find him on VoicEd Radio, which you can listen to on TuneIn Radio, SoundCloud, or at VoicEd.ca. As you know, I love the work that network is doing and highly encourage my listeners to go over and join the education party.
If you have comments or questions about the show, you can always connect with me on twitter, @BradShreffler. I love to hear from you. That\'s also a great place to connect if you\'d like to be a guest on the show.
Until next week, go out and tell someone the story of when you were at your best.
