Episode 22 Kasey Bell

Published: Nov. 3, 2017, 1 p.m.

b'Hello, and welcome to episode 22 of the Planning Period Podcast, your #EdBreakroom.\\xa0I\'m your host Brad Shreffler.
This week on the podcast, I talk to Kasey Bell of ShakeUpLearning.com and the Google Teacher Tribe Podcast. I\'ve been listening to her show with Matt Miller, and I love their energy and excitement about the Google Suite, but more importantly, the way they pivot that excitement into practical tips. Knowing that, I was sure she would make a great guest on the show.
Kasey and I talk about the game of school and following with what has always been done, sharing your voice, and preaching to the choir, and the power of pushing for paradigm shifts.
Before we get to that, I want to make a quick announcement. I have been thinking a lot about the giveaway I have been running the last couple weeks. I feel like it was a mistake. It wasn\'t really appropriate of me to encourage my audience to review my show like that. Reviews should be natural, real. So, I am sorry for that.
So, for now, sit back and enjoy Episode 22 of the Planning Period Podcast, my interview with Kasey Bell.
Thank you again for sitting with me Kasey. That was such a fun talk and you really got me thinking.
If you\'d like to connect to Kasey, checkout her website, ShakeUpLearning.com, or find her on twitter @ShakeUpLearning.
If you have comments or questions about the show, you can always connect with me on twitter, @BradShreffler. I love to hear from you. That\'s also a great place to connect if you\'d like to be a guest on the show.
Until next week, part of the benefit of technology in the classroom is to not just dismiss anything immediately.
