This week on the podcast I am thrilled to have Derek Rhodenizer. Derek is a Director of Academics at an independent school in Ontario, but I know him from his work on VoicEd Radio. He runs the OnEdMentors show every Thursday night as well as A Word in Progress on Sunday nights. Through these two shows I have gotten the chance to have some truly awesome conversations with Derek and I knew his perspective and expertise would make him a great guest on my podcast.
Derek and I talk about a lot, from new professional development methods, one of the reasons teachers are so change-averse, the power of authentic audiences, and the importance of taking risks, to the need for relationships with your students. We cover a lot, and Derek succeeds in bringing the conversation to great levels.
