IN THE rush to celebrate the death of Osama bin Laden (assuming he really is dead this time), Americans have overlooked a disturbing consequence: as a nation, we are apparently OK with our president ordering assassinations in violation of multiple treaties signed by the United States, federal law, and the Constitution.
