Ramadan draws to a close with violence escalating in Iraq, military assets poised in the Persian Gulf and eastern Mediterranean, with Russia and China positioning troops in Lebanon. All the powder keg needs is a spark.
Meanwhile, government officials in the U.S. are asking for new restrictions on travel and Internet use, all in the interest of tracking terrorists (or pedophiles). The prospect of asking government permission to travel out of the country is a huge change but it isn't getting any attention from the media. Surprise, surprise.
