Superintendent Thomas joins the Pensacola Morning News to discuss the first day of school in Escambia County, which is under unique circumstances due to COVID-19 protocols and students choosing to do traditional brick and mortar schooling, virtual schooling, or remote learning. Today is also Superintendent Thomas' last First Day today as he will be retiring this school year.
