Elizabeth Cohen once thought she wanted to be a math teacher. Then she discovered psychology. And boy did she adore psychology.
\\xa0
Like many of us at certain points in our lives, she was very clear that she was going to do this.
\\xa0
But when she finished her psychology degree and decided to pursue an advanced degree, she was not accepted.\\xa0
\\xa0
So she gave up and completely changed directions.
\\xa0
No, no, just kidding.\\xa0 She tried again.\\xa0 And in her case, the 2nd time was the charm.
\\xa0
She reminds us:
\\xa0
Every day you spend hating what you\'re doing, you\'re taking years off your life.\\xa0
\\xa0
Because we\'re practicing the same thing over and over, we\'re essentially training our brain to be UNHAPPY!
\\xa0
In summary, you\'re not ever really stuck.
\\xa0
The brick wall you\'re seeing isn\'t a room.\\xa0 It\'s just a wall - maybe in the middle of a beautiful field.\\xa0
\\xa0
Look around, over, under, and beside you.
\\xa0
There\'s always something else to see.
