120. A true example of what's possible - Gretchen Carlson

Published: May 18, 2022, 5 p.m.

What can I say\u2026 I'm in awe of my guest this week, Gretchen Carlson.

You may recognize her name from the news over the past few years.\xa0 She's also had a few movies made about her journey.

Why is she a guest on my podcast?

\xa0

Because after a very successful career and some exciting accomplishments, her life took an unexpected detour.

\xa0

And instead of crawling under a rock, she fought back.\xa0

\xa0

Because of her bravery and persistence, she has turned her trials into a purposeful career making sure the rest of us do not have to endure what she had to endure.\xa0

\xa0

In my opinion, this is the definition of a hero. And a true example of what's possible.

She's been an integral part of getting some very important legislation passed, so that we don't have to turn a blind eye when we're being mistreated in the work place.\xa0 We have been empowered to speak up.

\xa0

And it's all because Gretchen did what we all say we'll do.\xa0 She said she'd make a change, and then didn't stop until she was finished.

\xa0

So, when you wake up tomorrow and see all that's going wrong in our world, then talk about all the injustices as if we have no power, please remember this story.\xa0

\xa0

We have the power to evoke change.\xa0 We just have to commit to it.\xa0 Use your time for that instead.\xa0

\xa0

Then, anything will be possible.
