PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AMERICA Community Response FAILURE not ACCEPTABLE How do we participate in the transformation of public education and build a more successful set of educational outcomes ? How do we create real strategies at the local level ? How do we block the illusion of change, and establish workable and success-based solutions for our children? Where do we fulfill our obligatio...n to be part of the solutions? I was surprisingly impressed by The Obama Education tour discussion is a great starting point with Duncan, Gingrich and Sharpton . . . but where are the educational professionals ? What is the responsibilities of community of to all children who attend public schools ? Can we place all the responsibilities and tasks on the shoulders of parents and schools ? I think not.
