New details released in the killing of Kevin Peterson Junior by Clark County police.

The investigation into the police shooting of Kevin Peterson Junior is moving toward a conclusion. This weekend, protesters held a vigil calling for repercussions against the three officers who shot and the young, Black man in Southwest Washington. It comes after documents were released on Friday that include previously unreported details.

That vigil followed the release of new information late last week that described a chaotic drug bust leading up to the police shooting.

Hi, Troy.

Late on Friday, investigators publicly released almost 5-hundred pages of their work looking into this shooting...so a lot of new information to look at. What do we know now about how deputies first encountered Kevin Peterson Junior?
