Fordham Alum in the Super Bowl

Denver Broncos Wide Receiver Greg Wilson

For Greg Wilson, the path to the Super Bowl was an unlikely one. A mere two weeks ago, Wilson was out in San Francisco selling insurance to make a life. Now, he's back in the city that never sleeps on the practice squad for a team that has a chance to win Super Bowl XLVIII.

The 6-foot wideout played his last two years of college ball at Fordham after transferring from Diablo Valley Community College. Wilson scored four touchdowns in each of his two years and had over 1,000 receiving.

After college Wilson was bounced around from tryout to tryout, spending time at the 49ers' rookie minicamp and even trying out for Denver earlier this year. Still, he was out of luck until about two weeks ago when the practice squad offer came. That changed his whole life around, even sending him 4,000 miles away.

But, so far, the rookie wideout seems to be enjoying himself. Our own Mack Rosenberg and Nick Logerfo caught up with the wide receiver at Denver media day.
