2020 Australian of the Year, Dr James Muecke joins AFL Legend, Business Investor and Sports Commentator, Matthew Pavlich, to discuss his work in treating blindness and reducing type 2 diabetes.

Dr Muecke, a proud South Australian, spent years working abroad across Africa to reduce the rates of treatable blindness and is now back home in Adelaide. Since becoming the 2020 Australian of the Year, Dr Muecke has been advocating for a 'sugar tax' to reduce the prevalence of type 2 diabetes.

A neurological condition forced Muecke to give up surgery, but this adversity hasn't stopped him from using his platform to push for reform with sugar.

Dr Muecke discusses a number of topics including resilience, the core elements to social enterprise and innovation.
