8-time world champion BMX and mountain bike rider Caroline Buchanan joins AFL legend and PickStar co-founder Matthew Pavlich to talk about Caroline's journey and how she's overcome adversity.

Buchanan is currently preparing for the postponed Tokyo Olympics, scheduled to take place in 2021 and is training at home having recovered from a spate of injuries over the past year.

Caroline talks about her journey to becoming a professional, including her first world championships at the age of nine when she took her Cabbage Patch doll to Paris with her to compete.

She discusses what she's learned from failure, how she maintains a focused, winning mindset and the structure she needs in her life to compete at the highest level.

In a wide-ranging chat, Buchanan also explains how she decides which brands are right for her to partner with, giving a unique insight from the perspective of an athlete about how they approach marketing and brand decisions.
