b'The ABRA technique I use to keep focused on the job during challenging times. There are times when you\'ve been in the hospital, and someone is sharing their story for the third time, you understand that it is important to them, but you feel your mind wondering (something to focus on). The night before, something happened which has kept your mind off the job and that negative thought continual keeps reminding distracting from the task at hand. What about where you\'re making a change in your life, and you\'re wanting to show yourself compassion with the first acknowledging your thought is present, taking up valuable real estate in your mind. The ABRA technique has helped allot.
