In low-income housing tax credit news, he discusses the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and low-income housing tax credit provisions in the president’s budget, as well as legislation that would create an Oklahoma lowincome housing tax credit. In new markets tax credit news, he shares the president’s plans for the new markets tax credit program and a new tax credit program, as well as the latest Qualified Equity Investment Issuance Report and a request for information about community development entities’ 2013 new markets tax credit program activities. In historic tax credit news, he shares information about a sign-on letter sent in response to Rep. Camp’s proposal to eliminate the historic tax credit, information about conservation easements from the FY 2015 budget proposal and the requirements about Louisiana’s historic tax credit program. In renewable energy tax credit news, he discusses the president’s suggestion to permanently renew the renewable energy production tax credit and eventually eliminate the investment tax credit, as well as a Utah bill that would extend the state’s renewable energy production tax credit to solar projects.
