Plans to scrap the triple lock will begin today
Plans to scrap Ireland\u2019s long standing \u201ctriple lock\u201d will begin today. Tanaiste and Defence Minister, Michael Martin, is looking to draft a bill which changes how Defence Forces are sent on peacekeeping missions overseas.
