Ireland's Hospital's Are Now "Beyond Strain"
HSE chief executive Paul Reid has described the situation in Ireland’s hospitals is “now beyond strain.” Last night there were 1,582 Covid-19 patients in hospital while the number of people in intensive care is up by 21 to 146, just 9 short of the record set in the first wave.
